This only needs to be done a few times a season. Do not over-oil your glove/mitt. Remember the best advice "Lubricate, don't saturate" the leather shell; While not in use, place a ball in the pocket and wrap a rubberband or tie a string around the glove or mitt to maintain a consistent shape; At least once a season, check the glove/mitt laces to be sure they are tight in order to maintain the desired shape and performance; Rawlings does not recommend submerging your glove/mitt in water, placing your glove in a conventional oven, microwave oven, or heating your glove/mitt in any way to soften the material. This may affect your product warranty if not performed as directed.
