Top of Stove Directions 1. In medium saucepan, bring 1- 3/4 cups water,1/4 cup milk*, 1 Tbsp. margarine (optional) and contents of package to boil. (Try using I Can't Believe It's Not Butter!® Spread or Country Crock® Spread.) 2. Stir. Reduce heat & simmer Covered 7 minutes or until rice is tender. 3. Let stand at least 2 minutes. Stir and serve. *For a lower-fat alternative, try using low-fat or skim milk. Mircowave Directions In 2-quart microwave- safe bowl, combine 2 cups water, 1 Tbsp. margarine (optional) and contents of package. Mircowave uncovered at HIGH about 13 minutes* or until rice is tender, stirring once halfway through cooking. Stir and serve. *Microwave ovens very; adjust times as needed. Directions above developed in a 1200 watt mircowave oven.
