Cooking Directions: Simmer: For each 8 ounces (approximately 1/2 bag) of Cut Leaf Spinach, bring 3/4 cup water to a boil. Add vegetable and bring to a second boil. Separate with fork if necessary, for uniform cooking. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer 5 to 6 minutes, until just tender. Do not overcook. Drain. Season to taste. Steam: Pour 8 ounces (approximately 1/2 bag) of Cut Leaf Spinach in vegetable steamer and place over boiling water. Cover and steam 6 to 8 minutes, until just tender. Season to taste. Microwave Ovens: Pour Cut Leaf Spinach in 1-1/2 quart microwave-safe dish. Add water and cover. Microwave on high as directed on chart. Drain. Season to taste. Servings: 2 large / 6. Amount: 8 oz / 16 oz. Water: 1 Tablespoon / 2 Tablespoons. Cooking Time*: 2-1/2 minutes. Stir and continue to cook 1-1/2 minutes / 6 minutes. Stir and continue to cook 4 minutes. *Microwave cooking times may vary from one oven to another. For best results, consult owners manual. Keep frozen until ready to use.
