Preparation Instructions Text: The Original Chex Party Mix: 3 Cups Corn Chex cereal: 1 cup mixed nuts. 3 cups Rice Chex cereal: 1 Cup pretzels. 3 cups Wheat Chex cereal: 1 Cup garlic-flavor bite-size bagel chips or regular- Size bagel chips, broken into 1-inch pieces.1 Chex Party Mix seasoning packet. 6 tablespoons butter or margarine (Do not use spread or tub products). Microwave Directions: In large microwavable bowl, microwave butter uncovered on High about 40 Seconds or until melted. Stir in seasoning. Gradually stir in remaining ingredients until evenly coated. Microwave uncovered on High 5 to 6 minutes, thoroughly stirring every 2 minutes. Spread on paper towels; cool about 15 minutes. Store in airtight container. Makes 12 cups. High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): No changes. Preparation Instructions Text: Oven Directions: Heat oven to 250 degree F. Melt butter in large roasting pan in oven. Stir in contents of seasoning packet.
