This world-famous wine has a deep, crystalline, almost purple robe, an intense cherry, raspberry and violet bouquet and a lovely aromatic fruity palate with hints of Provencal herbs, cinnamon and other spices. Produced from all 13 Chateauneuf-du-Pape varietals, it is hand-harvested by long-term family winemakers on ancient vineyards where the Popes of Avignon once had their summer palace.
