Double distillation conform. Since 1825, the 'Maeson' Boulard has been taking great care to make Calvados Pays d'Auge from four apple categories of sweet, bitter, bittersweet and tangy apples. Boulard V.S.O.P. offers a sublimely fine balance between ripe apple, almond and a smooth melted brioche like notes. It comes from the blending of minimum 4 years old Pays d' Auge Calvados and above, aged in oak barrels after a double distillation process using an alambic a repasse (put still) heated with a naked an open flame.
