Fine wines from Italy's Abruzzo Region. Nevio represents the time-honored winemaking techniques of central Italy's Abruzzo region. Native, old-vine Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is grown and vinified according to local traditions, which brings out the grapes' full richness, and an intense, deep color. This wine is full-bodied with concentrated flavors of dark cherry, plum and cassis. Nevio was inspired by the international symbol of Abruzzo: 'The Warrior of Capestrano', a stone sculpture of Vestino King Nevio Pompuledio from the VI Century B.C. that is on display at the National Archaeological Museum Villa Frigerj in Chieti.
