Red wine. Valle De Pedernal, San Juan. Argentina. Pyros Wine are born in Argentina's Pedernal Valley - an isolated rocky stronghold located in the Andes Mountains over 1400 meters (4500 feet) ASL. Unique limestone and flint soils derived from prehistoric marine deposits, together with optimal diurnal temperature fluctuations and access to the purest snowmelt water, set this new world class Argentinian appellation and its wines apart. Pyros Valle de Pedernal Appellation Malbec is intense, with aromas of black cherry, spice and violet. Aged for 12 months in oak barrels, the wine has amazing grip but with silky mineral-driven tannins taken from the uniqueness of the terroir, and flavors of blackberry and fresh plum - a fascinating all-round wine.
