Bodegas Salentein is a pioneer in the sustainable production of premium wines in The Uco Valley the region's (deal wine growing conditions combined with the diverse soil types and microclimates of the estates, situated between 1,050 and 1,700 meter high, result in wines with exceptional characteristics. Variety: 100% malbec from old vineyards from our El Oasis and La Pampa estates, situated between 3,800 and 4,100 feet above sea level. Location: G.I. San Pablo and Tunuyan, Valle de Uco. Tasting: Intense violet color, with a complex and aromatic nose of Notes: blackberries, dark plum and vanilla. On the palate, this wine is rich and juicy, with flavors of blackberry, dark cherry and boysenberry. Well structured, with velvety tannins, complex minerality, and fresh acidity, this wine has a long and elegant finish. Ageing: The wine has been aged in French oak barrels for 14 months.
