Quick & Easy Directions: To Use The Sweeper: 1. Press down lightly as you sweep side-to-side. Use quick and short strokes, cleaning a 1-2 foot wide area at a time. 2. If pet hair builds up on the rollers, move to a clean area of fabric and sweep side-to-side again. 3. Hair stays trapped inside the sweeper. 1-2 foot wide strokes. To empty the sweeper: 1. Hold over a trash receptacle. 2. Slide the yellow latch to unlock position. 3. Separate the lid from the base and empty into trash receptacle. 4. Secure the lid onto the base and slide the yellow latch to the lock position. Note: make sure small plastic pegs fit into small holes in lid. Unlock & separate. Empty. Reattach & lock.
