Dry red wine. Vigneti La Selvanella owes its name to a farm owned by Casa Melini in Radda, in the historic heart of the Chianti Classico area. The vineyard covers a single area of 124 acres, situated on the knoll of a hill at 1,312-1,968 feet above sea level with an happy combination of soils, exposure and microclimate. The production of this Riserva began with the 1969 vintage. The wine has a well-defined and recognizable style, closely linked to the special characteristics of the vineyard and its grape variety.
