Directions: With royal oak tumbleweeds or lighter fluid. (1) open air vents on grill. (2) stack frontier charcoal briquets in a pyramid in the center of the grill. (3) place a royal oak tumbleweed in the middle of the charcoal or apply lighter fluid according to the instructions on the package. (4) if using tumbleweeds, light the end of the tumbleweed. If using lighter fluid, light briquets in several places. Leave grill uncovered. (5) as flames die down and briquets are covered in ash (grayish color), spread coals over grill and begin cooking. Tumbleweed. Lighter fluid. Safety Instructions: Follow all instructions and safety precautions associated with your grilling products. For best results, store in a dry area or container. Place grill on flat, level surface away from flammable items, overhangs and trees. Never barbecue indoors. Ashes must be completely cooled before discarding. Never add lighter fluid after starting a fire. Never use gasoline to light a fire. Keep away from children.
