Directions: With Chimney (recommended), Royal Oak Tumbleweeds, or Lighter Fluid. 1. Open air vents on grill 2. Fill a charcoal chimney with lump charcoal or arrange charcoal in a pile in the center of the grill. 3A. If using a chimney (recommended), follow the chimney instructions by putting paper or a Tumbleweed beneath the chimney and then lighting the paper or Tumbleweed. 3B. If using Tumbleweeds without a chimney, place Tumbleweeds in the middle of the charcoal pile and light the end of each Tumbleweed. 3C. If using lighter fluid, apply according to the instructions on the package and then light charcoal in several places. 4A. If using a chimney, wait until visible flames and then pour out the charcoal onto the grill. 4B. If not using a chimney, wait until flames die down and charcoal is covered in ash (grayish color), and spread charcoal over the grill. 5. Begin cooking.
