Cooking Directions: Stove: Empty 1 envelope sunny select onion soup mix into medium saucepan. Stir in four cups (32 oz) water and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes. Microwave: Combine 1 envelope soup mix and 4 cups water in a 2-quart casserole dish. Heat uncovered on high power until boiling (about 8 minutes), stirring occasionally. Let stand, covered, 5 minutes before serving. Onion dip: Combine 1 envelope of sunny select onion soup mix and 2 cups sour cream; mix well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.Serve with crackers, chips, or fresh vegetables. Yield: about 2 cups.
