Baking Instructions; You will need makes about 20 cookies. 1 Large egg. 1 Tablespoon water. 6 Tablespoons unsalted butter, softened (To soften butter, let sit at room temperature for 15-60 minutes or microwave 10-15 seconds until softened for non-dairy recipe, substitute your favorite plant-based butter alternative). Instructions: Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper if desired (do not grease). In a large bowl, beat the butter with an electric mixer at medium speed for about 1 minute. until light and fluffy. Mix in the egg and water on low speed until combined. Slowly add in cookie mix on medium speed and continue mixing until dough forms. Roll dough into uniform balls by the tablespoon to form about 20 balls and place 2 inches apart on cookie sheets. Flatten centers slightly with palm of hand. Bake in the center of the oven for 13-15 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool on pan for 2 minutes, then remove to wire rack to cool completely. Store in a cool, dry place.
