Directions

You Will Need For Brownie Batter: 1/4 cup water 1/3 cup vegetable oil 1 egg* For Mint Drizzle: 1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil Heat oven to 350degF for shiny metal pan or 325degF for dark, nonstick or glass pan. Grease bottom of pan. Stir Brownie Mix, water, 1/3 cup oil and egg in medium bowl until well blended. Spread in pan. Bake as directed in chart or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean; cool. For an 8" x 8" pan, bake for 35-38 minutes. For a 9" x 9" pan, bake for 30-33 minutes. For a 11" x 7" pan, bake for 28-31 minutes. Place Mint Chips and 1/2 teaspoon oil in small microwavable bowl. Microwave on high 25 to 30 seconds; stir until chips are melted. (Microwave 10 seconds longer if needed.) Drizzle over brownies. Betty's Tip: To cut warm brownies, use a plastic knife and short sawing motions. Store tightly covered. High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): Stir 1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour into dry brownie mix. *For cakelike brownies, use 1/4 cup water, 1/3 cup vegetable oil and 2 eggs.
