Directions

Use and Care: This meat thermometer is intended to stay in the meat for the duration of the cooking. 1. Insert thermometer approximately 2 inches into the center of the thickest part of the meat, avoid touching bones, fat or gristle. 2. Preheat oven to 325°F or recommended temperature as specified by your recipe. 3. If desired temperature is not reached, return meat to oven for further cooking. Re-check until correct temperature is reached. Calibration: Your thermometer is already calibrated for accuracy. Over time, if you feel it needs adjustment, follow these steps. 1. Prepare a cup of ice with a small amount of water. Insert the stem into the water; do not touch the ice. Temperature should read 32°F (0°C). 2. To adjust, twist the nut behind face until proper reading is shown. To Clean: Do not immerse in water; wipe stem with a clean damp cloth or wipe with alcohol as a disinfectant.
