Spray waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray and heat according to manufacturer's directions. Cook until steaming slows or until golden brown and crispy. Serve hot. Traditional waffles. No Belgian waffle iron? Simply use your regular waffle iron! Add one beaten egg, 1/3 to 1/2 cup water, and 2 tbsp. melted butter to 1 cup of mix. Whip well and let stand while waffle iron is heating. Mix 1 cup mix with 2/3 cup seltzer water (or tap water) until smooth. Heat griddle, use a fat free nonstick spray. Cook one minute or until full of bubbles, then flip over. Cook another 1 minute. Serve Hot. 4" waffles - mix - water or seltzer. 5-7 - 1 cup - 2/3 cup. 11-13 - 2 cups - 1-1/3 cups. 17-18 - 3 cups - 2 cups. 23-24 - 4 cups - 2-1/3 cups. 25-26 - full box - 2-3/4 cups.
