Directions

All You Need: 1 whole turkey (up to 25 lbs or larger), thawed. 1 pacakage Spice Islands turkey brine mix. 4 quarts water. 1 single-use brine bag (included), or large stainless steel or plastic container. 4 quarts ice water. Mix: Remove giblets from thawed turkey. In large pot, dissolve mix in 4 quarts of water over medium heat. Do not boil, cool to room temperature. Brine: Pour cooled brine and 4 quarts of ice water into brine bag and seal tightly. Brine in refrigerator or ice filled cooler for 1 hour per pound of turkey. Roast: Remove turkey from brine. Rinse turkey and pat dry. Roast in oven following manufacturer's instructions until done. Serving Suggestion: Makes a juicier turkey. Kit Includes: 1 lb of Brine Mix; Re-sealable Brine bag. Contains garlic, orange & rosemary.
