Store in a cool, dry place. Recommended Daily Feeding Amounts: Weight of Dog: 3-12 lbs (1.4-5.4 kgs); Amount to Feed: 1/2 to 1-1/4 cups (49-122 grams). Weight of Dog: 13-20 lbs (5.9-9.1 kgs); Amount to Feed: 1-1/4 to 1-3/4 cups (122-171 grams). Weight of Dog: 21-35 lbs (9.5-15.9 kgs); Amount to Feed: 1-3/4 to 2-1/2 cups (171-244 grams). Weight of Dog: 36-50 lbs (16.3-22.7 kgs); Amount to Feed: 2-2/3 to 3-1/4 cups (260-317 grams). Weight of Dog: 51-75 lbs (23.1-34.0 kgs); Amount to Feed: 3-1/4 to 4-1/4 cups (317-414 grams). Weight of Dog: 76-100 lbs (34.5-45.4 kgs); Amount to Feed: 4-1/4 to 5-1/4 cups (414-512 grams). Weight of Dog: Over 100 lbs (Over 45.4 kgs); Amount to Feed: 5-1/4 cups plus 1/3 cup for each 10 lbs of body weight over 100 lbs; 512 grams plus 32 grams for each 4.5 kg of body weight over 45.4 kg. Feeding Adult Dog: The recommended feeding amounts are based on using a standard 8 oz/250 ml measuring cup which contains approximately 97 g of Purina Beneful Prime. Most adult dogs can be fed once daily. However, when high activity or other factors create a higher feed intake, twice-a-day feeding is recommended. Dogs should be maintained in ideal body condition and not be allowed to become overweight. The food intake required to maintain ideal body condition will vary, depending on age, activity and environment. Consequently, the amount of food required for each dog will vary and should be adjusted accordingly. Feeding Tip: When switching your dog to Beneful Prime dog food, please allow 7 - 10 days for the transition. Gradually add more Beneful Prime and less of the previous food to your dog's dish each day until the changeover is complete. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets. Provide adequate fresh water in a clean container daily. For your pet's health, see your veterinarian regularly.
