Slowly cook or place in the crock pot on high for 4-6 hours, or on low 6-8 hours. Keep refrigerated. Cooking instructions: Instant pot: Place meat in instant pot. Add water to 3/4 the height of meat. Set to "Meat" or "Stew". Cook for 60-80 minutes for optimal shredding. Remove steam and pressure. Using a meat thermometer, ensure the internal temperature of product is 160°F. Serve! Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F. Place meat in a deep baking pan. Fill baking pan with water until half the meat is in the water. Bake for 60-80 minutes, use a meat thermometer to ensure internal temperature reaches 160°F. Crock pot: Place meat in crock pot, add water to 3/4 meat height. Place lid. Turn to high. Cook for 4 to 6 hours until meat is fork tender. Use a meat thermometer to ensure internal temperature of product is 160°F. For food safety, cook to an internal temperature of 160°F as measured with a food thermometer. Appliances and product thickness may vary; adjust cooking times accordingly. Refrigerate or discard leftovers immediately.
