Product Details
Arcus Vineyard Pinot Noir Dundee Hills, Willamette Valley. Equal parts historic and majestic Arcus Vineyard has been called The Yosemite of the Dundee Hills. It's on these steep and scenic slopes that we first planted vines back in 1973. The dazzling terrain and rocky soils are almost hypnotic, with dramatic contours much like the bend of an archer's bow. Farming these hills rows is nothing short of arduous but the beacon at the top of the mountain has always been incredible, densely structured fruit. Soil: Volcanic. Elevation: 260-620 feet. Exposure: E, SE, S, SW, W. Acreage: 33. Years Planted: 1973, 1986-1990, 1995-2000, 2007-2008. www.archerysummit.com. Live: Certified sustainable grapes.
