How to Brew: French peas/ Tea pot / strainer: Place 1.5 tsp yerba mate per serving to press/pot, then add freshly boiled water. Steep for 3-10 minutes. Adjust to desired strength. Coffee maker: Place 1.5 tsp yerba mate per serving in the filter basket, then brew normally. Adjust to desired strength. Single Serve Brewer: Place 1.5 tsp yerba mate in a reusable filter basket, then brew normally. Adjust to desired strength. Espresso Maker: Yerba mate brews well in most espresso makers. Place 1.5 tsp yerba mate in a double espresso porta filter, adjust amount to desired strength. Pull a long shot for a total of 4 oz. Great for making mate lattes. Terere (Cold Mate) Recipe: Brew a cup of hot yerba mate. Add ice and lemon or fresh mint to taste. Mate Latte Recipe: Brew a cup of hot yerba mate. Add sweetener (sugar, honey, agave or maple syrup) to taste and 4 oz of steamed milk of choice. Top oft with milk foam. Makes a 12 oz mate latte. Delicious hot or iced.
