Microwave directions: What you need. 2 tbsp margarine or butter. 1 1/3 cups water. Microwave safe bowl. Do not microwave in bag. 1. Pour grains and spice pouch into 1 1/2 or 2 quart microwave safe bowl; add 1 1/3 cups of water. 2. Stir well to ensure proper cooking and add 2 tablespoons of margarine. 3. Cook in microwave for 6 minutes* on high. 4. Sauce will be thin, let stand 1-2 minutes or until water is absorbed and rice is tender. *Microwave ovens vary in rate of heating; cooking time may vary.
