Follow the simple conversion guide lines below and leave out all of the fat! Recipe says - use. Amount of butter, oil, margarine or shortening - amount of lighter bake. 1 cup - 1/2 cup. 3/4 cup - 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp. 2/3 cup - 1/3 cup. 1/2 cup - 1/4 cup. 1/3 cup - 1/6 cup (=2 tbsp). 1/4 cup - 1/8 cup (=2 tbsp).
