It's important to select the proper size & type of chew for your dog's age, weight & chewing strength. Non-edible chews should be large enough to encourage chewing from the side rather than top and bottom. If you have more than one dog in your household select chews appropriate for the largest, strongest chewer Not intended for powerful chewers. Powerful chewers may need Nylabone Power Chew toys. Always supervise the use of all chews & toys. Product is not intended to be eaten or ingested. During normal chewing, small bristle-like projections will be raised which help clean teeth. If you think your dog swallowed a large piece, take the product away and contact your veterinarian. Inspect before giving to your dog to make sure it's whole and intact. Check frequently & replace if damaged, ends are worn down or if it becomes too small to chew safely. Hand wash with warm soapy water & rinse thoroughly. Feeding Instructions: For dogs up to 15 lbs, feed one small chew per day. Be sure your dog has access to plenty of fresh water. This is a natural product; colors may vary. Natural color may stain light-colored surfaces. Supervise the use of all edible chews to ensure that your dog does not bite off pieces too large to swallow. These chews are recommended for dogs with all of their permanent teeth (usually around 6 months). Feed as a treat. This product is not intended to be fed as a meal.
