To Make a Gasket: 1. Flange surfaces should be clean, dry and completely free of paint, dirt, grease or old gasket material. 2. Apply a continuous bead of sealant to one surface. 3. Assemble mating surfaces with minimal lateral movement. Excess sealant can be wiped away with a cloth and shop solvent.
