Each vintage, as part of our Single Vineyard Designate Series, we select the finest barrel lots to create a wine that exudes a unique sense of place. - Jim Bernau, Founder/Winegrower. - Joe Ibrahim, Winemaker. This high quality wine is gently made and may have some sediment, please carefully pour or decant. Technical: Pinot Noir Clones: Dijon 114, 115, 777, Pommard and Wadenswil. Soil Type: Jory (iron rich volcanic) and Nekia (shallow, iron rich volcanic). Barrel Regimen: 16 months in French Oak. Oak: 29% new. Barrels Produced: 42. Harvest: Sept. 27 - Oct. 7, 2018. Brix at Harvest: 24.5 degrees. Peak Drinkability: 2020-2026. All of our vineyards are certified sustainable - LIVE (Low Input Viticulture and Enology) and salmon-safe. Salmon safe.
