YOU WILL NEED: 1 LB LEAN GROUND BEEF 2 CUPS HOT WATER 1/2 TSP SALT 2 TBSP BUTTER FOR TOPPING: 2/3 CUP MILK 1. BROWN: Brown beef in 10-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 6 to 7 minutes, breaking up and stirring; drain. Return cooked beef to skillet. Stir in hot water, salt and butter. Gently stir in Potatoes. Heat to boiling over high heat, gently stirring, until butter is melted. Meanwhile, stir milk and Topping Mix in bowl with whisk or fork. Set aside to thicken. 2. COOK: Reduce heat to medium; press evenly. Cook uncovered 8 to 12 minutes, without stirring, until liquid is absorbed and bottom is becoming golden brown. 3. STIR: Stir and turn over potato mixture; press firmly. Increase heat to medium-high. Cook 2 to 4 minutes or until most of bottom is golden brown. 4. ADD: Remove from heat. Turn over mixture so browned potatoes are on top. Add topping. Refrigerate leftovers.
