Our limited release Robert Mondavi Private Selection Rum Barrel Aged Merlot blends the craftmanship of California winemaking with exotic tradition of Dark Rum barrel aging. Our coastal California vineyards deliver jammy flavors of plum and blueberry to the wine. This merlot has flavors of dark plum and berry with complex nuances of toasted coconut, molasses, and brown spices from the aged Rum barrels. There are sweet aromas of molasses, vanilla, mocha, cocoa powder, and spiced rum cake. This red wine pairs well with Caribbean rum cake, pasta bolognese, Korean short ribs, Jamaican jerk chicken, spicy coconut curry, dark chocolate, brie with fig jam and a white sandy beach at sunset.Warnings
