Robert Mondavi Winery Reserve Wine Cabernet Sauvignon

Description

The unique geography and climate of the California coast are what allows Robert Mondavi Wines to grow a variety of grapes that give the wines their distinctive character and intense fruit flavor. The grapes soak up sun in the afternoon and are cooled by evening fog. They mature slowly, developing intense, pure fruit flavors unique to California Coastal vineyards. This Robert Mondavi Winery Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is grown in Napa Valley, California and is a 2011 vintage. This cabernet sauvignon tastes of dried herbs, violet-floral, garrigue (a fresh, minty-sage character) and a sense of minerality, in a silky ribbon of flavor that flows elegantly into a long, lingering finish. This wine is 91% cabernet sauvignon, 5% cabernet franc, and 4% petite verdot.
