Directions

Directions for Coloring Eggs: Use hard boiled, clean, white eggs. Add 1 teaspoon of gel food color to a small cup. Add 1/2 cup of hot water and 1 teaspoon vinegar. Dip eggs for a minimum of five (5) minutes. Drain eggs well before placing on drying rack. Color blending chart: Color - ratio. Orange - 6 yellow: 2 red. Lime green - 5 yellow: 1 green. Lt. Brown - 7 red: 2 yellow: 1 blue. Teal - 1 blue: 1 green. Rose - 8 red: 1 blue. These ratios are to be used as a guideline. To achieve color intensity, continue to add a small amount of gel food color until desired shade is reached. For accurate color measurement, gently squeeze on spoon, knife or other mixing utensil.
