Purely Icelandic. This is skyr as it's been enjoyed for centuries in Iceland, a combination of milk and cultures that is rich and creamy...simplicity on a spoon. According to the FDA, no significant difference has been found between milk derived from rBGH-treated and non-rBGH treated cows. Traditional Icelandic - Skyr has been a provision of Icelanders for a thousand years. It's thick, creamy and packed with protein. Our traditional Icelandic skyr is not too tart, not too sweet and full of flavor. It is distinct from yogurt because we use Heirloom Skyr Cultures. No rBGH. Contains probiotics. Grade A. Protein 17g.
