Helpful Hints: 1. Read all instructions before removing perforated discs from back of box, and before coloring eggs. 2. Hard boil clean white eggs in enamel, stainless steel or glass pan (Do not use aluminum or iron). 3. Convert this carton into a drying tray. Punch out perforated discs and reinforce corners of the box with tape. 4. Use cardboard egg carton to dry extra eggs. Note: If you store colored or decorated eggs in the refrigerator, the eggs may become wet, and may smear and stain. Please use care. 5. Use newspaper or paper towels to cover work area. To Make Golden Eggs: 1. Use clean, white hard boiled eggs. 2. Before opening gold glaze, mix the contents thoroughly by alternatively squeezing each end of the packet. 3. Open packet of Gold Glaze and pour a few drops into a well of the decorating tray. 4. With the sponge, carefully dab gold glaze onto entire egg. Let dry and touch up areas as needed until you have a perfect Golden Easter Egg! Use a second coat if needed. To Make Gold-Tinted, Colored Eggs: 1. For best results, color your eggs while they're still warm. 2. Fill 5 cups with 5 oz. of warm water each. (Just enough to cover the egg.) Dissolve 1 color tablet in each cup. Note: Use a small cup - Using more than 5 oz. of water in a cup will make less colorful eggs. 3. After tablet has dissolved, add 2 tablespoons of white vinegar to each color bath. 4. Bend dipper and lower egg into cup for 5 minutes. Note: The longer the egg is left in the coloring bath, the more colorful the egg will become. 5. Set egg onto drying tray to dry. 6. Place a completely dry, colored egg into a glazing bag. 7. Squeeze out a few drops of Gold Glaze into the bag and onto the egg. 8. Using both hands, rub the outside of the glazing bag until the areas of the egg you want golden are covered. 9. Using the bag as a glove, place the golden tinted, colored egg onto pins in the decorating tray to dry. For Best Results: 1. Your kit contains five Glazing Bags. Use one bag for each color egg. Using the same bag for different colored eggs will create a muddy-color effect. Egg Stands Assembly: Lock ends as shown. Use tape for extra strength.
