Directions
For food safety and best quality, cook to a temperature of 165°F or 74°F. Stovetop Cooking: Place frozen brussels sprouts in enough boiling water to cover vegetables and bring to a second boil. Stir, cover and reduce heat. Simmer 7 to 9 minutes or to desired tenderness, stirring occasionally; until heated thoroughly. Drain, season to taste and serve. Microwave Cooking: Place frozen brussels sprouts in a microwave-safe casserole dish and add enough water to cover vegetables. Cover and microwave on high 6 to 8 minutes or to desired tenderness, stirring halfway through cooking time. Season to Taste and Cover, allowing to stand for food safety and quality before serving. Keep Frozen Until Ready to Use: Not ready to eat. For food safety, cook thoroughly to 165°F (internal temperature). Because microwaves and stovetops vary, adjusting cook times and heat settings may be required. Refrigerate leftovers. Store at 0°F (-18°C) or lower. Keep frozen.
