Directions

1. In a medium saucepan, bring 2 1/2 cups of water to a boil. Add contents of rice packet and 2 tablespoons of Goya® olive oil, corn oil or butter. Stir. 2. Boil for 1 minute, cover tightly, and reduce heat to low. Cook for 30 minutes or until water is absorbed. 3. Stir rice and serve. Makes 5 (1/2 cup) servings. Some great Goya ideas for dinner! Creole red beans & rice. In a skillet or saucepan, heat 2 tablespoons of Goya® olive oil. Add 1 lb. of smoked sausage, 1/2 cup each of onions and peppers and 2-3 cloves of garlic; saute 5-7 minutes or until nicely browned. Add 2 cups water and 1 tablespoon Creole seasoning, bring to a boil. Add contents of rice packet, stir, cover tightly. Reduce heat and simmer, cook 25 minutes, or until water is absorbed.
