Cooking Directions: Simmer: Heat squash in covered saucepan over low heat for 20 minutes. Separate with fork and stir often. Season to taste. Bake: Bake at 350 degrees F in a covered dish for about 40 minutes. Stir with fork half-way through cooking time. Season to taste. Microwave ovens: Put squash in 1-quart microwave-safe dish: cover and cook on high for 4 minutes* separate with fork and stir. Cook 3 minutes longer. Season to taste. *Microwave cooking times may vary from one oven to another. For best results, consult owners manual. To store: Keep frozen until ready to use. If thawed, cook promptly. Store at 0 degrees F. Check freezer temperature with thermometer and adjust controls as needed. Keep frozen.
