Cooking directions: Simmer: for each 8 ounces (approximately 1/4 bag) of broccoli, cauliflower & carrots, bring 1/2 cup water to a boil. Add vegetables and bring to second boil. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer 5 to 6 minutes, until just tender. Do not overcook. Drain. Season to taste. Steam: pour 8 ounces (approximately 1/4 bag) of broccoli, cauliflower & carrots, in vegetable steamer and place over boiling water. Cover and steam 8 to 10 minutes, until just tender. Season to taste. Microwave ovens: pour broccoli, cauliflower & carrots, in microwave-safe dish: 1-1/2 quart size for up to 1/2 bag, 2-quart size for whole bag. Add water and cover. Microwave on high as directed on chart. Season to taste. Servings - 2 large - 10. Amount - 8 oz - 32 oz. Water - 2 tablespoons - 1/3 cup. Cooking time* - 3 minutes. Stir and continue to cook 4 minutes. - 4 Minutes. Stir and continue to cook 7 minutes. *Microwave cooking times may vary from one oven to another. For best results, consult owners manual. Keep frozen until ready to use.
