Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils, and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. Previously handled frozen for your protection: refreeze or keep refrigerated. Cooking instructions: To fry: slice sausage cold with a sharp knife to form patties. Fry at 340° F. For approximately 12 minutes turning frequently to avoid excessive browning. Drain well on absorbent paper. To broil: slice sausage cold with a sharp knife to form patties. Place on broiler pan approximately 5 inches from heat. Broil 2 to 5 minutes on each side. Drain well on absorbent paper.
