Directions

Stove top directions - for one serving (about 2-1/2 cups): In medium pot, combine 2-1/3 cups milk, 2/3 cup Quaker instant oats with cinnamon, 1/3 cup of sugar and a pinch of salt (optional). Bring to boil over medium-high heat. Cook 1 minute, stirring frequently. Remove from heat. Serve without straining. Microwave directions - for one serving (about 2-2/3 cups): In large microwaveable bowl, combine 2-1/2 cups milk, 2/3 cup Quaker instant oats with cinnamon, 1/3 cup of sugar and a pinch of salt (optional), microwave on high power 4 to 6 minutes or until thickened, stirring every 2 minutes. Serve without straining. For thinner cereal, increase amount of milk, for thicker cereal, decrease amount of milk.
