Safe Handling Instructions: This product was prepared from inspected and passed meat and/or poultry. Some food products may contain bacteria that could cause illness if the product is mishandled or cooked improperly. For your protection, follow these safe handling instructions. Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. Cooking Instructions: To Microwave: Place one pound of sausage in covered casserole dish for 4-6 minutes on high power. Drain oil and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Microwave ovens vary times are approximate. To Broil: Place sausage on broiler rack and cook for 20-24 minutes. Turn once during cooking cycle to ensure even browning. To Pan Fry: Place sausage in fry pan with 1 tablespoon of water and other of white wine and cover the pan. Cook for approximately 10 minutes, remove cover and cook for an additional 15 minutes. To Grill Outdoor: Place sausage on pre-heated grill about 7-9 inches above fire. Cook about 20-22 minutes turning sausage until golden brown. Keep refrigerated.
