Directions

For food safety and best quality, cook to a temperature of 165°F. Stovetop Cooking: For best results, place vegetables in a minimum amount of boiling water while still frozen. The low temperature of the frozen vegetables will cool the water and stop boiling. Allow to cook until tender. Avoid overcooking for best flavor and color. Season to taste. Microwave Cooking: Combine vegetables and 2 tablespoons water in microwave-safe dish. Cover and microwave on high for 9 to 10 minutes; stir halfway through cooking time. Let stand for 5 minutes, drain, season as desired and serve. Keep frozen until ready to use. Not ready to eat. For food safety, cook thoroughly to 165 degree F (internal temperature). Because microwaves and stove tops vary, adjusting cook times and heat settings may be required. Refrigerate leftovers. Store at 0°F or lower. Keep frozen.
