What’s Inside: Pasta & Bean Blend Vegetable Blend (Dried: Carrot, Onion, Celery) Seasoning Blend What You Need: 1 qt. (4 cups) Chicken or Beef Broth 3/4 cup Water 1 can (15 oz.) Crushed Tomatoes Garnish: Shredded Parmesan Cheese Fresh Basil Make It: 1. Prep Ingredients: Shred ½ cup Parmesan cheese. Slice ½ cup loosely packed fresh basil into thin strips. 2. Stir It Up: Combine contents of soup kit with broth and water in large stock pot. 3. Now We’re Cooking!: Bring to boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to low; simmer 15 min., stirring occasionally. 4. All Together Now: Add tomatoes; stir. Return soup to boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to low; simmer 10 min. 5. The Finishing Touch: Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish each bowl with Parmesan cheese and basil before serving. Chef’s Tip: To take this soup over the top, serve with crusty bread.
