Keep frozen. Cooking Guidelines: Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F. Arrange frozen leg quarters in a single layer in a shallow roasting pan. Bake for 60 to 70 minutes, or until chicken can be easily pierced with a fork and juices run clear. Let stand 3 to 5 minutes before serving. Meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the chicken, without touching the bone, should reach 180°F. For pan frying in a skillet or grilling, thaw chicken first. Defrosting: For best results defrost leg quarters in the refrigerator overnight. Always cook until the internal temperature reaches 180°F. Skillet: Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a heavy skillet. Add thawed leg quarters and cook over medium high heat for approximately 5 minutes per side until nicely browned. Reduce heat to medium low, cover and cook an additional 15-20 minutes until chicken can be easily pierced with a fork and juices run clear. Meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the chicken, without touching the bone, should reach 180°F. Grill: Brush grill rack with cooking oil. Heat grill to medium. Place thawed leg quarters on grill rack. Cover and cook for 20 minutes. Turn chicken over and replace grill cover. Cook an additional 15 minutes or until chicken can be easily pierced with a fork and juices run clear. Meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the chicken, without touching the bone, should reach 180°F.
