Line cupcake pan with six paper liners. 2. Blend cupcake mix and butter until mixture becomes sandy. Stir in egg until combined; scrape bowl as needed. 3. Add milk on low speed, mix just until combined. 4. Scoop batter into cupcake papers, filling each cup 2/3 full. 5. Bake cupcakes for 18-20 minutes, or until centers feel firm, and spring back when lightly touched. 6. Cool for 10 minutes in pan, then remove from pan. Allow cupcakes to cool completely before frosting. 4. Mix butter, 2 tsp. of milk, and frosting mix on low speed until combined.
