Keeps best refrigerated or frozen. Basic cooking instructions: To cook lentils, simply pick over to remove debris, rinse and drain. Cover 1 cup lentils with 3 cups water or broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 25-30 minutes or until tender. Serves four.
