Prep time: 10 minutes. Makes 10 servings. You will need: 1 pkg. McCormick Seasoning Mix. 2 lbs. beef stew meat, trimmed and cut into 1-inch cubes. 1 pkg. (8 oz.) fresh mushrooms, halved or sliced. 1/2 cup chopped onion. 1 cup water. 1 cup sour cream. Directions: 1. Place beef, mushrooms and onion in slow cooker. 2. Mix seasoning mix and water until blended. Pour over beef and vegetables; toss to coat well. Cover. 3. Cook 8 hours on low or 4 hours on high. Stir in sour cream until well blended. Cover. Cook 10 minutes longer on low. Serve over cooked egg noodles, if desired. Slow cooker tip: for best results, do not remove cover during cooking. Try this twist! Beef Paprikash: use 2 1/2 lbs. boneless beef chuck, cut into 1-inch cubes. Use 1 cup each chopped onion and green bell pepper for the vegetables. Stir in 3 tbsp. tomato paste and 1 tbsp. McCormick Paprika with the seasoning mix and water.
