Preparation Instructions: 1. Pour equal amounts of Hashbrowns and hot water (140 degrees F - 160 degrees F) into a bowl or if making full carton, fill carton with hot water to fill line. 2. Make sure all hashbrowns are covered with water, cover bowl/close carton and let stand for 12 minutes. Drain well. Caution: contents will be hot. For full carton preparation transfer to holding pan after draining until ready for use (refrigerate if not to be used immediately, but use remainder within 24 hours). 3. Preheat a large, non-stick skillet and 2 tbsp. oil over medium-high (375 degrees F) heat. 4. Fry for 6 minutes, stirring thoroughly every 2 minutes. Preparation Hints: For softer hashbrowns or when water temperature is less than 140 degrees F, let stand for 15 minutes in step 2. Refrigerate any leftovers. Yield: 50 servings (1/2 cup serving size) of ready to grill hashbrowns. Partial Carton Preparation: Servings: 2; Hashbrowns: 2/3 cup; Hot Water: 2/3 cup. Servings: 4; Hashbrowns: 1-1/3 cup; Hot Water: 1-1/3 cup. Servings: 6; Hashbrowns: 2 cups; Hot Water: 2 cups. Servings: 8; Hashbrowns: 3 cups; Hot Water: 3 cups. Servings: 16; Hashbrowns: 6 cups; Hot Water: 6 cups. Full Carton Preparation: 50; Full Carton; To fill line on carton. Store in a cool, dry place.
