What you need: 1 1 /2 cups Water. 1/4 cup Milk. 2 tbsp. Margarine or butter. Top of stove directions: Potatoes, water, milk and margarine or butter to boil in large skillet; simmer on medium heat 8 to 10 min. Or until liquids are absorbed. Increase: Heat to medium-high. Spread potatoes into even layer on bottom of skillet. Cook 2 to 3 min. on each side or until golden brown on both sides. Remove from heat. Stir in velveeta cheese sauce.
