Preparation: Protect work area. Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of old caulk, grease, dust and other contaminants. Pierce tube with point at end of cap. Attach nozzle & cut to desired bead size. Adhesive application: As an adhesive: Apply a continuous, even bead of silicone to one surface. Assemble parts immediately. Leave bond undisturbed for at least 2 hours. Sealant application: As a sealant: hold tube at angle. Apply by pushing silicone into joint. Clean-up: Uncured: mineral spirits. Cured: carefully scrape excess with razor blade or sharp-edged tool. Technical data: Set time: Tack free time: 45 minutes. Cure time: 24 hours. Cure time dependent on temperature, humidity and thickness of product used. Cured form: Transparent, non-flammable, flexible solid. Tensile strength: 325 PSI. Application: -35 degrees F (-37 degrees C) to 140 degrees F (60 degrees C). Withstands: Short term: -50 degrees F (-46 degrees C) to 392 degrees F (200 degrees C). Long term: -50 degrees F (-46 degrees C) to 350 degrees F (177 degrees C). Not recommended for: Not paintable. Do not use on marble, limestone, brass, copper, magnesium, iron, zinc or galvanized metals. Hard to bond plastics such as PE, PP, PTFE, PMMA, PC, or PVC. Not suitable for below grade. I

Silicone is the most universal means of sealing common household joints and cracks that are subject to direct water contact. Loctite's indoor/outdoor formula withstands temperature extremes and adheres to a wide variety of materials. Cured formulation is aquarium safe. Transparent. Warning: Prolonged or repeated contact with uncured adhesive may cause eye, skin and respiratory tract irritation. Repeated or prolonged contact may cause allergic skin reaction.Read carefully other cautions on back panel.
Caution: Contains acetoxysilanes. Acetic acid, which irritates eyes and respiratory tract, is released during curing. Use with adequate ventilation. Do not get in eyes or on skin or clothing. Wash hands after using.
First Aid: In case of skin contact wipe off and wash with soap and water. In case of eye contact flush with water for 15 minutes, call a physician immediately. In case of respiratory difficulty, remove to fresh air and call physician if symptoms linger. Keep out of the reach of children.
